ASB 389 Ethnographic Field Lab
Learning Outside of the classroom. This webpage takes you through my journey of exploring metropolitan Phoenix as a transnational site. Phoenix is the sixth largest city in America and includes over one million residents. Due to the size and location Phoenix has a large latino presence, but latinos are not the only immigrants who call Phoenix home. Every week my research team and I explored a different area of Phoenix. We explored current issues, local and foreign cuisine, interviewed residents and participated in religious ceremonies in an order to discover a global connection.
